Yakou Tenma

EDIT: Gekkou and Yakou used to have the headcanon birthday May 20.  However, this was before I wrote to Itou Akira, the manga artist of Yu-Gi-Oh! R.  I wrote to him in 2018 on his Twitter account Vg_akira to ask him questions, including when the twins were born.  He told me that Pegasus's orphans do not know their birthdays, so they all chose a single birthday on December 25 at https://twitter.com/Vg_akira/status/1009408407730675719.  My questions are on the top, and Itou's replies are underneath.  For this reason, the headcanon birthday May 20 was removed from the group's plots.  It was replaced with the headcanon birthday December 12 based on Suzugamori Ren's canon birthday.  This is because Ren from Cardfight!! Vanguard is based off of Yakou in Yu-Gi-Oh! R, which were both written and drawn by Itou.  For more information, see Yu-Gi-Oh! and Cardfight!! Vanguard Part 1.


This is Yakou Tenma~! He looks so awesome and wonderful asdfklgjh! ;w; He and his twin brother, Gekkou, are my favorite characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! R, and this is the first picture I've made of Yakou! :D They're two of the adopted sons of Pegasus J. Crawford/Maximillion Pegasus.  Some of the other sons are Richie Merced and Depres Scott.

I made Yakou with Photoshop and a mouse.  This picture goes with the one I made exactly one year ago of Gekkou at brotherlyfluff.deviantart.com/… .  Both twins have a night sky for their backgrounds, but the moon in Yakou's sky is small, whereas it's more prominent in Gekkou's sky because Yakou's name means "night" and Gekkou's name means "moonlight".  Since Gekkou's background is made of land and a tree, Yakou's background differs with an ocean and a city in the distance.

This is a gift for one of my best friends, Katerina ()~ :3 She's my Yakou (Yako-Tenma) and I'm her Gekkou (Tenma-Gekkou) at Yu-Gi-Oh-RPdA. The reason I posted Gekkou on May 20, 2013 and Yakou on May 20, 2014 is because Katerina and I chose May 20th for the twins' birthdays~ This was also posted on my Gekkou account at gekkou-tenma.deviantart.com/ar… . <3
