Making Stamps for Beginners by BrotherlyFluff Making Stamps for Beginners by BrotherlyFluff
Here is a tutorial I made for beginners on how to make non-animated stamps with Photoshop Elements or Photoshop. The company Adobe makes Photoshop Elements and Photoshop. Elements is a simpler version with a lot less features.

Feel free to try different techniques to make stamps. There are other tutorials on deviantART, some for beginners and some for more advanced users. Some tutorials have methods that are very different that the ones I use. Here are some other tutorials other people made on deviantART:

:bulletred: Making stamps with Paint or Paintbucket [link]
:bulletpink: Making stamps with Photoshop 7.0 [link]
:bulletblue: Making animated stamps with Photoshop 7.0 [link]
:bulletgreen: Making animated stamps with Photoshop and ImageReady [link]

You can choose your own stamp template or make your own. There is a stamp template at [link]

If you don't have Photoshop, there are alternatives such as GIMP, Krita, Paint.NET, Pixia, and others. :) However, I'm not sure if my tutorial will be compatible with those other programs since I'm unfamiliar with them. :(

This is a little late, but there's a brilliant program called GIMP, which functions like Photoshop, but is completely free!

Lol thanks! You might've accidentally pressed Caps Lock on your keyboard. Try pressing it again and hopefully the text won't be in all caps anymore. :)

To be able to display stamps on your profile, you have to be subscribed and use the thumbnails of stamps. For example, I made a stamp at [link] and its thumbnail is :thumb64291373: . :)

I can't believe I found a stamp tutorial for Photoshop Elements 2.0! That's the version I have, so this'll come in handy. Yes, I know I should probably get a newer version, but I don't have the money and my computer doesn't have enough RAM. That's why I'm glad that I found this.

I'm not sure because I have only used Photoshop Elements. However, since Photoshop is more advanced than Photoshop Elements, I'm assuming it should work with Photoshop. :)
